Sun Necklace

Bumblebee jasper is sun made solid, that thick golden heat of a July afternoon caught inside stone. This necklace was born from that kind of light.

At its center the stone glows honey and amber, veined with dark streaks like the sun ducking behind a cloud only to break through again moments later. Bumblebee jasper is bold, alive, grounding and fiery all at once. It is said to bring joy and courage to the one who wears it, and to help you find your spark again when life has gone a little gray.

I wrapped this piece slowly, thread by thread, on one of those scorching summer days when the air itself seems to shimmer.

It keeps pulling your attention back, the way real heat does, the way real joy does.

This jewelry is for the days you want to feel the sun on your skin and mean it.
