Welcome to Intambo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website intambo.net and any purchases you make through it. By placing an order or otherwise using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

2. Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
"We," "us," "our," or "Intambo" refers to the business described in Section 1. "You," "your," or "Customer" refers to any person who visits our website or places an order. "Products" refers to the handmade jewelry pieces and any related items offered through our website. "Website" refers to intambo.net and any subdomains. "Order" refers to a purchase request placed through our website.
3. Eligibility
By using our website and placing an order, you confirm that:
You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. The information you provide during checkout is accurate, complete, and current.
4. Products and Their Handmade Nature
All Intambo pieces are handmade in Hungary, often using natural materials such as stones, minerals, hemp cord, and metal components. Because of this handmade and natural nature:
Each piece is unique, and minor variations in color, texture, shape, and finish are expected and form part of the character of the work. Stones and minerals may vary in tone, pattern, and inclusion from photographs. Product images on our website are taken with care, but due to differences in screen displays and lighting, the actual color and appearance may differ slightly from what you see online. Sizing is approximate and may vary slightly between pieces of the same design.
These variations are not considered defects.
5. Prices and Currency
All prices on our website are displayed in the currency selected by the customer (EUR, USD, or other supported currencies) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes for the Hungarian market.
As Intambo operates under the KATA tax regime (Small Taxpayers' Itemized Lump-Sum Tax) in Hungary, prices do not include separately itemized VAT.
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees imposed by the destination country are not included in the product price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the customer. See our Shipping Policy for details.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price displayed at the time of your order is the price that will apply to that order.
6. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website:
You select the item(s) you wish to purchase and add them to your cart. You proceed to checkout, where you provide your shipping address, contact details, and payment information. You confirm your order by clicking the relevant purchase button.
By placing an order, you make a binding offer to purchase the selected items under these Terms.
We will send you a confirmation email once your order has been received. This confirmation email constitutes acceptance of your offer and the formation of a binding sales contract between you and Intambo.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:
Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment Errors in product description or pricing Inability to ship to your location Stock unavailability
If we cancel an order, any payment already received will be refunded in full.
7. Payment
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. By placing an order, you authorize the charge to your chosen payment method.
Your order will be processed only after payment is successfully received.
8. Shipping and Delivery
All orders are dispatched from Hungary. Please allow up to one week from the date of payment for your order to be prepared and dispatched, as we live in a rural area where post office trips require some planning.

9. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Because every Intambo piece is handmade, our return and refund policy is somewhat different from a standard retail shop.

10. Warranty (Statutory Rights)
In accordance with Hungarian and EU consumer protection law, you have certain statutory rights regarding products that do not conform to the contract.
Accessory warranty (kellékszavatosság): Under Hungarian law (Act V of 2013, Sections 6:159-6:167), if a product does not conform to the contract at the time of delivery, you may request repair, replacement, a price reduction, or, in certain cases, cancel the contract.
You may exercise this right within two years from the date of delivery. Within the first year, you only need to prove the existence of the defect; after one year, the burden of proof shifts to you to demonstrate that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
Product warranty (termékszavatosság): As the manufacturer of our products, we are responsible for ensuring that the product meets the quality requirements expected at the time of placing it on the market. You may exercise product warranty rights directly against us within two years of the product being placed on the market.

11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including but not limited to:
Photographs of our products and studio Product descriptions and text Logos, brand name, and visual identity Designs and concepts of our jewelry pieces
are the intellectual property of Sipos Barbara / Intambo and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use any content from our website without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use (such as saving an image for your own reference) is permitted.
The Intambo brand name and any associated marks may not be used by third parties without our express written consent.
12. User Conduct
When using our website, you agree not to:
Use the website for any unlawful purpose Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or any related systems Interfere with the proper functioning of the website Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information Use our content for commercial purposes without permission Engage in any conduct that could harm Intambo, our customers, or third parties
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product. We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We are not liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
15. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We genuinely care about your experience. If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us first at intambojewelry@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly. We will respond to your complaint within 30 days.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence grant you additional rights to bring a claim before the courts of your country.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our offerings, or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised.
The version of the Terms in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and Legal Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Intambo regarding your use of our website and any purchases made through it.
