Ashborn Phoenix was created during a quiet afternoon, in the middle of a deep, honest conversation with a dear friend. As we talked, the necklace slowly took shape in my hands, without a plan or hurry. In that moment, everything influenced everything else. The words, the silence between them, the movement of my hands. This is what Buddhism calls dependent origination—the understanding that nothing exists on its own. Dark blue moonstone, rutilated quartz, and clear crystal came together through that shared presence. This piece carries the feeling of returning to yourself after change, after fire.
