I want to share something truly close to my heart today.
After eight years of building Intambo alone (with my partner who makes the admin part) - shaping, threading, experimenting - I recently found myself feeling a little stuck.
Actually, let me say that again.
After eight years of lovingly creating Intambo piece by piece, I suddenly realized I was walking in circles.
The same gemstone fairs. The same trusted vendors. The same reliable materials.
I love them all, but something inside me began to whisper… it’s time for something new.
So I listened. I softened. I let the unknown in.
At first, this new energy arrived in the form of workshops.
A space to share not only finished pieces but the meditative, joyful process behind them.
And then, something magical happened.
Or rather, someone showed up.
Her name is Niki Nagy, and I’m so happy to tell you she is now part of Intambo as a co-creator.
From the very first moment I met her, I felt it.
Niki understands the soul of Intambo without needing to copy it. She brings her own sense of color, shape, and celebration into every piece she touches.
Her first creations left me breathless. It was that rare, electric feeling of seeing something familiar become brand new.
Vibrant combinations. Lightness. Joy. And always with the same care and attention to detail that you know from me.
We’ve been learning and creating side by side, and I trust her with both the technique and the heart behind it all.
So here we are. A new chapter begins.
Not a change of direction. More like a blooming. A soft, wild expansion.
